Essential Information

The Cable Beach Precinct, renowned for its pristine sands, turquoise waters and iconic sunsets, is currently undergoing a remarkable transformation as part of the Walmanyjun Cable Beach Foreshore Redevelopment.

Managed by the Shire of Broome, the project is divided into stages and precincts.

Stage 2 (Northern Precinct) is expected to commence in mid-April 2025, involving the development of the green amphitheatre space and public car park located to the West of Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa.

Resort management have been advised that the upgrades will be conducted across daylight hours only, from approximately mid-April 2025 (12 month project timeframe).

The redevelopment aims to transform the Cable Beach Foreshore into a globally recognised waterfront precinct, improving accessibility and views whilst enhancing the area’s natural assets

The beautiful Cable Beach will remain open throughout the project, with the works occurring from the dunes and green space above the beach.
